STUFF-A-BUS FOR COBB CHRISTMAS
Santa's sleigh has had an overhaul and is now 40 feet long and can seat 39 comfortably in addition to carrying gifts and toys. When you see it, you'll think, "Wow! That looks a lot like a CCT bus."

To see just how effective partnerships between public and private, for-profit and non-profit entities can be, look no further than the Stuff-A-Bus program sponsored by the Cobb County Department of Transportation and Cobb Christmas, Inc. This program is now responsible for the donation, collection and transportation of thousands of gifts and toys each year for Distribution.
In addition to Cobb Community Transit (CCT) and Cobb Christmas, the program wouldn't be successful without the help of local businesses, schools, and other organizations that serve as stops along the Stuff-A-Bus route. Volunteers at these stops organize food and toy drives beginning in late November and going through the first two weeks in December. At the scheduled date and time the Stuff-A-Bus will make a stop at their location to collect all the items which have been collected. All of the items are then stored and eventually transported by CCT to the Cobb Christmas Distribution site at Jim Miller Park.
The Stuff-A-Bus is no ordinary CCT bus. This bus is festively wrapped on the outside, and also festively decorated on the inside. Volunteers accompany the bus to spread holiday cheer at each stop and to thank the participants for their generosity.
Individuals are encouraged to participate at all of the Stuff-A-Bus scheduled stops, and especially some of the more public ones, like Harry's Farmers Market or TownCenter Mall. To find a stop near you, see the current Stuff-A-Bus schedule.
